I had lessons over a couple of days with my 3 children (14, 13 & 9) whilst staying in Hayle. Theo made eveyone feel safe and comfortable, and he explained the technique in simple bitesize steps, so we were swiftly putting it into practice in the surf. Once in the water his patient and positive mind frame shone through. I'd recommend Theo and Evolve to anyone in the Hayle area and looking for high quality surf lessons. What a fantastic lesson with Theo! Myself and my two teenage children had never surfed before but Theo had us standing up on our boards by the end of the lesson. Excellent and very professional.  A great family company making their passion their business. So easy to get along with. Very knowledgeable and safety conscious. Fantastic experience today. Theo and Luke were incredible teachers and I stood up on the board during my first ever surfing lesson. Their teaching style was very explicit and easy to follow as they balanced verbal and physical demonstrations very well. Theo heeft ons een geweldige allereerste surfles gegeven. We hadden (ons gezin van vier) nog nooit op een surfplank gestaan en hij leerde ons op een leuke manier alle technieken. Met humor, geduld en persoonlijke aandacht kreeg hij het voor elkaar dat we alle vier konden staan aan het einde van de les en het was een onvergetelijke ervaring. I honestly can’t recommend Evolve Surf School enough. The lesson was with Theo, and he was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.

His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine passion for surfing is evident. He has an incredibly calm and patient way of teaching, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure our son was comfortable and confident learning to surf.

Our 6 -year-old had the lesson, and it was amazing to see how quickly Theo built his confidence. Our first time to Cornwall and the first surfing lesson, which won’t be forgotten!

Thank you for making it such a memorable experience. The whole family who run this are lovely!
