Our beginner surf lessons are tailored for absolute newcomers to the sport. Once you’ve been allocated the correct kit from us, you’ll learn everything a beginner needs to know about beach safety, paddling technique, how to catch waves, and finally the fundamentals of getting up to your feet on the surfboard.
We pride ourselves on small beginner surf lessons with unbeatable coach-to-student ratios. The average beginner surf lesson ratio is 1:4 with the maximum being 1:6. This guarantees each of our customers more 1:1 coaching. The customer experience is our number 1 priority.
For surfers looking to further develop their skills, Improver surf lessons are for the people who have taken a few lessons in the past and looking to progress and push their surfing!
If you’ve caught the bug and can regularly get to your feet, our Refresher lessons cover aspects of surfing such as fine-tuning the basics, turning your board, gaining speed, and catching unbroken waves from further out to sea. We have a large variety of boards to cover the needs of the improving surfer.

All of our Group Lessons are 2 hours long. Group Lessons & Private Lessons start at 10:00 & 2:00 but are subject to slight variation due to the tides
Elevate your surfing skills with our Advanced Coaching Courses for both children and adults. Lead by our experienced head coach Theo Whitehouse, with an elite surfing background, our sessions focus on refining advanced and elite surfing techniques.
These sessions are mobile so to ensure we choose the optimal surf conditions on the day, providing you with dedicated 1:1 time to accelerate your progress. Video footage is captured during each session, allowing for in-depth technical analysis and comparisons to be made on a computer, for at least an hour post-session. Personalised goals are then set for you to practice before your next session.
Expect a pre-booking confirmation from your coach, detailing the location and important information.

Experience the magic of a Sunrise or Sunset Session. There is no better feeling than being in the surf and watching the sun rise or set in the picturesque surroundings of Cornwall’s famous coastline – it is an unforgettable experience.
Evolve Surf School runs between the hours of sunrise and sunset each day. Book as a 1:1, 1:2 or Private Group Lesson for a surf experience that will be impossible to forget.

Weekly coaching suitable for adults and children of all skill levels -6 Y/O through to adults/senior groups. Progressive session, with all equipment included in the price per person.
Any children under THE AGE OF 10 Y/O will need to be accompanied by a NON-SURFING adult for the entirety of the session. A wetsuit can be provided for the adult free of charge.
Our WEEKLY club sessions time take place every Saturday but are liable to be rescheduled with conditions changes. Group 1 for ages 8-12 runs from 10:30 – 12:00. Group 2 for ages 12-16 runs from 12:30 – 14:00. Adults sessions run from 14:30 – 16:00.
Our Kids’ Surf Camps are action-packed with Surfing, Beach Games, Surf Specific Movements and Knowledge-Based Water Safety Sessions.
